Ankle Foot Orthoses

There are many types of AFO including rigid AFO, Hinged AFO, Dynamic AFO, prefabricated AFO, and silicon AFO. AFOs can be beneficial for conditions such as foot drop or reduced ankle stability. The type of AFO required depends on numerous factors such as the function required of the device, the level of mobility, the condition of the client.

Shoe Adaptations

Shoe adaptations can be made to fit most shoes. Adaptations include compensatory raises, rocker soles, wedges, flares and many more.

Shoe Inserts

Shoe inserts are usually custom casted and manufactured in our lab. Our shoe inserts are manufactured from various materials including EVA, polypropylene and carbon fibre. The material selected is dependent on many factors including the weight of the client, the reason for the inserts, the type of footwear that the inserts are to be used with. Inserts can be beneficial for many conditions including back pain, knee pain, foot / ankle pain and flat feet.
